What is a yokai

Yokai is a fantasy culture that Japan is proud of.

In the world of manga, anime, and games, Western fantasy based on myths and legends such as dragons and magic is a familiar motif. However, Japan also has its inhabitants of a fascinating fantasy world. That is the existence of a youkai.

Yokai are monster that do particularly frightening things that cause strange or unnatural phenomena to occur around them. In order to rationalize and reassure strange phenomena, people attributed them to yokai, gave them names, and created more and more independent characters in their imaginations.

Even though the existence of youkai is directed toward the direction of strangeness and fear, it is a splendid illusion and fantasy. The more you look at the stories and legends that people experienced in the past, or the pictures of monsters drawn by people in the past, the more you will find that the excitement and excitement are expressed.
