laughing Hannya

I converted Katsushika Hokusai’s laughing Hannya into a tattoo-like picture. I often draw Hannya, but it is difficult because there are so many pictures drawn by many people that I cannot differentiate them.

Recently my mentor wrote about plagiarism on Instagram, and I stopped looking at Pinterest and Instagram because I too often see other engravers’ work on Pinterest and Instagram, and I thought I may have unconsciously put their taste in my own pictures.

I basically refer to old Japanese ukiyoe and Buddhist statues from shrines and temples, so if you have a picture you would like tattooed, I will convert it into a picture of my own.
